Congregation Knesseth Israel is a member of the Big Tent Judaism coalition.
- The Big Tent Judaism coalition is composed of synagogues and other Jewish communal institutions who strive to create an inclusive and welcoming Jewish community for those individuals and households that are not currently engaged with the organized Jewish community.
Abraham and Sarah’s tent was open on four sides to welcome all who approached. Members of Big Tent Judaism seek to engage, support and advocate for all those who would cast their lot with the Jewish people, regardless of prior knowledge or background.
