Services at CKI

CKI services, led by our Rabbi Jack Kramer, have a warm and friendly spirit.

We use the Siddur Hadash series of prayerbooks, which contains blessings in Hebrew and English. The tunes we use for our prayers include both familiar Conservative melodies and more modern tunes.

Family Shabbat services are held monthly, either on Friday at 7:30 pm or Saturday at 9:30 am. (See the calendar). The service lasts about an hour and reinforces the prayers and tunes taught in our religious school. Students in the Religious School classes assist in leading the prayers.

Torah services are held on Saturdays at Family Shabbat services, and at Bar/Bat Mitzvah services.

Our Friday and Saturday services are followed by an Oneg Shabbat or Kiddush. What would a Jewish gathering be without a nosh?
