We will be watching the movie “Avalon”.
The Kirchinskys, a Polish-Jewish family, come to the U.S. at the beginning of the twentieth century. There, the family and their children try to make themselves a better future in the so-called promised land. “Avalon” looks at a fictionalized version of director Barry Levinson’s family, as they adapt to living in America as Jewish immigrants.
Refreshments will be served.
Guests are always welcome—$5.00 fee.
